Delicious Gluten-Free Crackers
Whether you want something crunchy with your soup, you’re making a gorgeous charcuterie board to wow your visitors, or if you are like me and just love crackers…
Here are some gluten-free cracker options that you will enjoy and not feel like you’re eating cardboard.
This was an area I struggled with in the early weeks of becoming gluten-free, as I wanted that crunch but not necessarily one a rice cake could satisfy. I have tried many options and for this post, I also brought my gluten-loving family into the testing to give perspective from someone who isn’t used to eating various versions of cardboard crackers. One thing I realized after being gluten-free for a while is my (taste) bar has been lowered due to the minimal options I thought were available. I would say ‘These are pretty good!’ and then my son would look at me like I have two heads, so before recommending anything, I needed more in my testing pool.
Below are 5 gluten-free cracker options for us that are gluten intolerant or living a gluten-free life, that are approved by gluten-loving and gluten-free alike. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
My 5 Favorite Crackers
Below are my favorite crackers, with my top choice…on top. Why make you wait for a countdown when you want to get to the deliciousness?
Each cracker brings something different, like texture or flavor options, so I recommend you try the ones that interest you the most and see what works best. I usually do a mix of cracker types anyway when creating charcuterie, or cheese and cracker, boards just to see what combinations go best with each other. For example, the Wasa Crispbreads go really well with soft cheeses, like goat cheese.
Now I’m hungry, so let’s just get into it!
Delicious!
The Dare Breton crackers are by far my favorite crackers. I seriously had to look at the box a few times to make sure they were gluten-free. These actually taste like crackers, buttery and delicious. Good with any cheese, as well as some tomato soup and sharp cheddar.

#3 Simple Mills
Almond Flour Crackers
Simple Mills has many options when it comes to gluten-free crackers. I'm currently enjoying their Farmhouse Cheddar crackers, but they have many flavors and even flatbread options. We have had good luck with some of their mixes as well for muffins, so highly recommend this brand. You can find many of their products on Thrive as well, which is where I go often for gluten-free grocery shopping.

#4 Wasa Crispbread
The Sesame & Sea Salt Wasa Crispbread is my favorite when I want something a little hardier. It's great with soft cheese, as I mentioned above with goat cheese, as well as with some smashed avocado.

#5 Absolutely!
Absolutely Grain Free Crackers are pretty good, especially the Toasted Onion Crackers. The only reason they are last on my list is that they break easily, so sometimes you get a box with more crumbs than complete crackers.
Quick Nutritional Facts:
- Serving Size: 9 Crackers (9 servings in a box)

Now that you have some options to test, get creative and spoil yourself with delicious combinations.
